These seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment. Especially as I’m out and about in Worcester with it’s very own swan sanctuary. With all the recent flooding the river has burst its banks and flooded over the pavement taking all the swans with it. Tried to feed them my hulahoops but they weren’t impressed so I resorted to taking photos instead.
I tried to get some pictures of them moving their wings as flight is a subject I like to include in my jewellery and draw.
Caught this one just at the right moment…
Pictures like this inspired my most recent work. This piece has a hand carved bronze swan in the middle and a sintered silver plated ‘cage’ style outer. Have a closer look here.
